Murray is the Founder and President of Experis Executive. As a recruiter he has recruited exclusively for global technology companies building their businesses in Japan placing numerous Country Managers, startup teams and specialist resources since 2003. His signature client is a leading cloud infrastructure software vendor, as he helped the company in Japan build out their management team during their early market expansion, and as a contracted recruiter (on RPO) to build out the Japan organization.
Based on this experience Murray is widely recognized in the Japan market as a leading headhunter for cloud-related technology vendors; having an extremely wide professional network of top performers across the infrastructure, platform, application, and service layers.
Murray is an avid sports fan having spent many years playing competitive rugby and basketball. His playing days are mostly over and he now spends his free time with his growing family and exploring Japan’s wonderful mountains and beaches.
Luke has over 15 years’ experience as a successful executive search professional in both Japan and his home country of Australia, especially within the start-up technology space.
Over his career, he has played a key role in building a successful boutique search practice where he was the most consistent and top performing consultant over six years, and then took his skills to Australia where he continued to focus on startup companies, expanding into ANZ and Singapore, while building up several successful small business ventures of his own.
He has built high performing teams in Japan and Australia from the top down, as well as executing critical “key man” searches for some of the most disruptive IT vendors in the industry. Leading the technology team, Luke has been fundamental in expanding and growing the business into new markets.

Jonathan is the RPO Director at Experis Executive focused on service delivery for our end-to-end RPO engagements. This role requires driving our team of onsite recruiters, administrators, and researchers to a high set of standards to ensure our clients are more than satisfied with our results.
A native of Indonesia and fluent in English and Japanese, Jonathan has been in Japan since the year 2000 where he has accrued vast experience in recruitment and technology sales.
As an avid fan of sports, Jonathan likes to spend his weekend watching football, swimming in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
Pema Chhophyel, originally from a tiny Himalayan dragon kingdom of Bhutan, has over 10 years of recruiting experience in Japan and is widely known as one of the most trusted business partners in the consumer industry. At Experis, he oversees and manages the team of consultants for the Consumer Practice and corporate RPO’s; focusing primarily on FMCG/Consumer/Retail & Consumer Healthcare sectors, placing bilingual professionals into B2B/B2C sales, brand marketing, supply chain, logistics/procurement, RA, R&D, and QA/QC.
Prior to moving to Japan, he was based in Portland, Oregon (USA) as Manager for American lifestyle brand Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F), and also worked for A&F’s sister brands Hollister Co, Abercrombie Kids, and Ruehl.
Pema holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon with the focus on Marketing and International Business Communication. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family and two young kids.10

After studying Japanese at the University of Iowa, Johnny moved to Japan to further improved his fluency. Since 2013, he has worked in recruitment providing staffing and search solutions for global companies. Before entering the recruitment industry Johnny worked as a project manager for a technology service provider, where his achievements included establishing a multi-million dollar procurement supply chain for a leading global financial services client in the region.

With experience as General Affairs in various industries, Mami leads office administration at Experis Executive, as well as acting as a bridge between Experis Executive and our parent company ManpowerGroup Japan.
Mami studied abroad in Canada and is passionate about handcraft and live entertainment – especially musicals.
With a background in the legal field mostly focused on IP law before moving into fashion recruitment, Mariela developed a broad base of commercial experience as well as a wide network in Tokyo before focusing on finance and accounting recruitment.
Mariela’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to her clients is reflected in her passion for learning and understanding about her clients business. Having spent over twenty years in Japan, Mariela also brings a wealth of cultural insight to support her clients in meeting their needs.

Neil has diverse experience in recruiting across both the Technology sector and in cross-industry functions, including HR, finance and accounting, and legal. Emmet is originally from New Zealand and has been living happily in Japan for over 10 years. With over 7 years experience in recruitment in Japan, Emmet has diverse experience recruiting for a range of mid-career to executive level positions in the technology sector. With over five years of experience working in recruitment both in Japan and Canada, Damien brings a seasoned, professional approach to his candidates and clients. Damien specializes in recruiting bilingual IT professionals within the sales, engineering, and professional services organizations across clients in the telecommunications infrastructure, mobility, networking, cloud, enterprise software, and enterprise storage space.
Outside of work, Damien is both a fan of mixed martial arts and an active practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. When he is not training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he can be found snowboarding during the winter or open water swimming in the summer months.

Rahul has over 14 years experience as a successful researcher and executive search professional in both Japan and EMEA, especially within the start-up technology space. As the co-founder of a leading market research firm, Rahul has deep experience and capability in scouting technology industry professionals in Japan and the Asia Pacific. Rahul’s consulting focus is on enterprise software, cloud services, and security spaces.

Haruka grew up in Japan, graduating with a degree in Architecture and design. Outside of work Haruka plays basketball, loves her dogs, traveling, spending time at her favorite coffee shop.
As the Software Engineering Manager at Experis Executive, Aki’s mission is to help clients to meet their software engineering, data science, and consulting needs through both domestic Japanese and foreign talent around the world. In this role, he works closely with both candidates in Japan, as well as those coming through ManpowerGroup’s global network of over 380 offices.
Trilingual in Chinese, English, and Japanese, Aki enjoys spending time with his family, playing with his young children, and doing yoga in his free time.
Sarah is an Associate Consultant with the Software Engineering team at Experis Executive. Kayoko’s career before recruitment includes retail sales management and sales training. In recruitment, she has worked on RPO programs for several global telecommunications and technology vendors for both mid career and new graduate hiring.

As a member of the RPO team at Experis Executive, Yo works with the key client as a Program Manager, focused on service delivery for our end-to-end RPO engagements. This role requires driving our team of onsite recruiters, administrators, and researchers to high standards to ensure client success.
Yo has a wealth of experience in both the agency and in-house recruitment, specializing in recruiting bilingual professionals within the engineering and service organizations. With a keen interest in technology, he has recruited for global clients across the telecommunications, infrastructure, mobility, networking, and cloud technology fields.

Mio is an RPO Recruiter with a wealth of experience in HR and recruitment. Having worked in the energy, general trading, and telecommunications sectors. Since moving into the recruitment field, Mio has been engaged in RPO projects with both global companies and Japanese companies, expanding internationally.
Utilizing knowledge of career counseling and psychology, she focuses on delivering “win-win” outcomes for her clients and candidates.

Nadine is an End-to-End RPO Recruiter at Experis Executive. She previously worked as In-house Recruiter (TA Lead) and HR Business Partner at a large Japanese semiconductor company where she was in charge of the end-to-end recruitment process of all back-end and staff positions. Toshiya is an onsite RPO recruiter focused on direct sourcing for his clients. With a background in the temporary staffing industry, Toshiya has also worked as a recruiting coordinator, sales manager and recruiter.

As an RPO Associate, Aiko supports onsite recruiters in the Onsite RPO Practice. Before entering the recruitment industry Aiko was in customer support for a game application company. Graduating in Entrepreneurship in the Philippines she ran a takoyaki business through her college years.
Aiko loves traveling around the world and has a passion for food. In her free time she is an avid photographer and spends a lot of time with family and friends.
After training at Experis as an Associate Consultant, Mie is a Candidate Coordinator providing administration and sourcing support to our onsite RPO clients.
Mie has lived in the Philippines where she participated in volunteer programs supporting an orphanage and rural villages. Following this volunteer activity and English study, she returned to Japan to work in the hospitality industry where she used her English to support a wide range of international tourists.
Mie enjoys walking the city and country side, as well as traveling. This includes back to Taiwan where her family and relatives live.
