A well established market leader in internet content delivery was facing challenges to meet hiring growth goals. They suffered a significant backlog of headcount and lacked the internal talent acquisition capacity to handle both the volume and the quality demands. Another issue for the client was a lack of control around vendor management that resulted in an expensive over-reliance on agencies.
As part of a global RPO contract Experis Executive partnered with ManpowerGroup Solutions’ RPO Division and structured an End to End RPO to focus on Direct Sourcing and reduce agency dependence. While there were structural challenges in the beginning that required adjustment Experis’ onsite team went on to ramp up the internal referral program and direct sourcing model that took new hires from Direct Sourcing from just 4% of the total to over 44%. By removing this broad dependence on agency use, driving Direct Sourcing and working with tier-1 specialist agencies only, more than $1 million dollars was saved over the 12 month engagement. In addition to this Time to Hire also improved by 20%.
